Belvedere, CA
This project a very challenging remodel. Built on a cliff, it was essential to have an elevator from the driveway to the three floors of the building. Over 400 Cubic yards of dirt and rock were removed to accommodate the new floor plan. Two massive retaining walls and over seventy tiebacks drilled twenty seven feet into the hill supports the structure. The original home is was around one hundred years old and was build around two houseboats that were the home of the original owners. It is build on the water front of Belvedere on the San Francisco bay.
